Maedeh shows how AI and wearables help us understand how children play

On the 14th of October the 8th “Wearables in Practice” (WIP) Symposium took place at Leiden University. An important topic was the use of wearable devices – “wearables” – to assess health across a wider population, e.g. via smartwatches. Maedeh presented how she uses artificial intelligence (AI) and wearables in her talk “Who is playing with me? Learning Trajectory Similarity with Siamese Architecture”. Here she explained how this allows us to analyze movement patterns and reveal children’s social and play behaviors! If you want to know how this works, learn more about Maedeh's research& stay tuned for more!
