Cyril Boonmann, Dr.

Cyril Boonmann is an associate professor and psychotherapist at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, LUMC Curium (Leiden University Medical Center). He also works as a senior researcher at the University Psychiatric Clinics (UPK) Basel and the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Basel in Switzerland. His work spans both general and forensic child and adolescent psychiatry, psychology and youth care, combining research and clinical practice in the Netherlands and Switzerland to improve care for children and adolescents with severe and enduring mental health problems, and their families. A central theme in his work is the use of new technologies, such as e-learning and virtual reality, to better support young people and their families.
