ESPCI #espci2023 Proudly introduce the session called ‘Welcome to school’! Social inclusion of young CI users in their daily environments. This session will be lead by prof. dr. Carolien Rieffe. She, and Brenda Sousa da Silva, Yung-Ting Tsou, and Claudia Libbi will present studies during this session about young CI users’ social participation experiences in different education stages - preschool, primary school, and secondary school. They also show a unique multi-method approach to capture these experiences, and identify factors in CI children’s daily school environments that promote better social inclusion, taking into account individual needs and capacities.
