Mitra Baratchi, Dr.

Mitra Baratchi’s research is focused on spatio-temporal data mining and mobility modeling. More specifically, she is interested in designing algorithms that extract patterns from the trajectories of moving objects such as cars, people, and animals. Such research targets different applications in crowd monitoring, smart mobility, and urban planning. Mitra is an assistant professor at the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS) at Leiden University. She is also affiliated with the LDE (Leiden, Delft, Erasmus) Centre for BOLD Cities.
