Maaike de Vos is an experienced inclusive placemaker and community builder. Her background in political science has made her aware of the power of inclusivity and community to work toward resilience. This allows her to combine her passion for nature and extensive experience with neurodiversity to create playgrounds that are (nature) inclusive, resilient, and ecologically sound.
Born and raised in Brunei, Egypt, and the Netherlands, her background plays an important role in seeking to support connection and a sense of belonging for children with a bicultural background.
Through the process of participation she seeks to amplify the voices of those that are traditionally marginalised. Striving to provide outside areas that help a plethora of different types plants and people to not just survive, but thrive.
