Guida Veiga’s research is focused on the connection between body and emotion, particularly the relationship between children's behavior (i.e., play, social interactions) and social-emotional competence and the impact of body-oriented interventions (e.g., play, relaxation) on children's and adults' health and well-being. Guida is also interested in assessment methods, such as psychomotor assessment, systematic observation, sensor technology, or biological health indicators. Guida is an Assistant Professor at the University of Évora, Portugal.
