Alexander Koutamanis is an expert in architectural design, environmental affordances and computational design. He studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and received his PhD on the automatic recognition of architectural drawings from Delft University of Technology. He previously worked as an architect in Greece, and as a senior consultant with the Government Buildings Agency in The Netherlands. Alexander is an associate professor at Delft University of Technology and an executive board member of the LDE Centre for BOLD Cities.
