The period that children’s Theory of Mind functioning was measured by a single false belief task has long been passed. The studies in this research program are aimed at giving a broader and more varied picture of children’s Theory of Mind functioning at different ages. Special emphasis is on the various factors that might affect this functioning.
Currently, our interest has moved from normal Theory of Mind to atypically developed Theory of Mind (autistic/ hearing-impaired children), with special emphasis on the cognitive side of Theory of Mind.
