Carolien and Özge are coordinating a bachelor project on social-emotional functioning in children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) in the Spring semester 2019.
The dataset, collected by researchers from the NSDSK, is part of the ZonMw "Emotion 1 to 5" project, a longitudinal project on social-emotional development in children with DLD. On February 19th, Özge and the students visited the NSDSK, where the researchers Rosanne van der Zee and Lizet Ketelaar explained how all tasks had been performed and scored. The bachelor students will do an extra data check, and analyse this data for their thesis. We expect that this project will improve their academic competence and contribute further to the wellbeing of children with DLD.
