Hannah Hobson

On the 19th of June 2018, Dr. Hannah Hobson, lecturer from the University of Greenwich, visited the lab to discuss new potential projects on children's alexithymia and language skills.

While visiting, she presented to the group at the research meeting, leading a discussion on some of the recent theories about what causes alexithymia. Hannah's recent work has highlighted a role for damage to language regions in the brain in acquired alexithymia following traumatic brain injury. Hannah has very much enjoyed her visit to Leiden!
