Prof. Dr. Robin Banerjee
- Robin Banerjee is a professor in Psychology at the University of Sussex. His work addresses social-cognitive and emotional processes associated with children's peer relations. He is collaborating with us on studies investigating children's strategies for coping with difficult emotions, and their understanding of emotional display rules.

- Brad Bushman is a professor of communication and psychology at The Ohio State University, and a professor of communication science at the VU University, Amsterdam. He holds the Margaret Hall and Robert Randal Rinehart Chair of Mass Communication. For about 30 years he has studied the causes, consequences, and solutions to the problem of human aggression and violence. His research has challenged several myths (e.g., violent media have a trivial effect on aggression, venting anger reduces aggression, violent people suffer from low self-esteem, violence and sex sell products, warning labels reduce audience size).
- Marina is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Neuroscience and Imaging, University of Chieti (Italy). Her research interests include bullying and victimization at school, and the role of moral emotions in regulating behaviour.
- Prof. Dr. Richard Cowan
- Professor Richard Cowan (Institute of Education, University of London, UK) is working on understanding the relationships between factors that influence children’s educational development and explain individual differences. These factors include self-regulation of emotion. Collaboration with the Emotion Focus group has made Richard sympathetic to functionalist perspectives on emotions.

Ashgar is a Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Iran. He collaborates with us in research on cultural differences in emotion communication and display rules.
Dr. Rabia Khawar
Khawar is a lecturer at the Department of Applied Psychology, GC University Faisalabad, Pakistan. She collaborates with us to translate several of the questionnaires we designed (Emotion Awareness Questionnaire, Mood List, Somatic Complaints List).
Professor at the department of Developmental Psychology of the VU University, Amsterdam. As a supervisor and co-author, Mark is involved in many studies presented on this website. Dr. Habib Nasiri
Habib did his PhD at the Shiraz University, Iran. He is interested in emotion regulation in Iranian children. Habib is validating several questionnaires on emotion regulation in Farsi.
Prof. Dr. Carlos Neto
Carlos works at the Technical University of Lisbon, in Portugal and he is an expert on children’s play and leisure time in relation to their motor development.
Dr. Paul Oosterveld
Paul is methodological research consultant, with a passion for questionnaire development. "Currently, I am not only involved in questionnaire research, but as a publisher of tests, I also ensure that the results of the research can be used in actual diagnosis."

K V (Dino) Petrides is Director of the London Psychometric Laboratory at UCL and lead developer of the family of Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaires (TEIQue)
Dr. Adrian Serrano
Adrian is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University Jaume I, Castello de la Plana, Spain. His research is focused on the effect of mothers' speech on children's Theory of Mind development.
Dr. Veena Suhkla
Veena works at the Cancer Patients Aid Association (Anand Niketan, King George V Memorial Infirmary) in Mumbai, India and is an expert on emotional well-being in children with cancer.
Luca works at the University of Trento, in Italy and is an expert on understanding other minds and moral development in babies and toddlers.
Dr. Guida Veiga
Guida is an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Évora, Portugal. Her research is focused on play and other leisure activities and social-emotional development. Now she is co-supervising Brenda Sousa da Silva's PhD thesis along with Carolien Rieffe and Johan Frijns on play in children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Dr. Lidon Villanueva
- Lidon is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University Jaume I, Castello de la Plana, Spain. Her research is focused on peer relationships and Theory of Mind. Currently, Lidon is working on the Spanish validation of the Emotion Awareness Questionnaire.
