Vassia Sarantopoulou, MSc
Vassia Sarantopoulou holds a Master degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Leiden University, and also has a Master in Career Counseling. She has done her research internship and thesis in the FocusonEmotions lab on Fairness in deaf children. Since then, Vassia worked on helping adolescents with their academic and career choices. Currently, she is working as a counselor in her own practice, AntiLoneliness. Her mission is to support people through hard times in life. In addition, Vassia thinks it is crucial for mental health to bring more awareness on Loneliness: a modern epidemic, how to recognize it, instead of demonizing it; and how to cope with loneliness through self-acceptance and meaningful relationships.
